Our History
A Family Business --- Well, sort of...

Changes Resale was opened in September 2001 by Cheryl Corbett. She later opened a second store, Small Changes (infants, kids and moms-to-be - League City, Texas) and in January 2007, deciding to give Small Changes her full attention, she passed Changes Resale to her friend and employee Lori Polanco.

In 2010, Kim Sheffield, a loyal customer of Changes since its opening, was actively seeking a business to satisfy a lifelong entrepreneurial dream and to transition out of her 24-year career as a litigation paralegal. Changes Resale was just the kind of business she wanted to own and she invited Lori to lunch to see if her business was for sale. It wasn't, but that lunch began Kim's employment at Changes Resale and a lovely friendship with Lori who generously taught her all the ins and out of resale ownership.  Kim took ownership in 2013, while Lori, a true renaissance woman, left to pursue her many other interests and talents.

Through these years, Changes Resale has kept its name, its many loyal customers, and its commitment to fabulous fashion. We look forward to making you our new old friend!
